BHUTAN VISA FORMALITIES

Arranging your travel to Bhutan is not difficult as you assume.  Once you get in touch with any of the Tour Operators, you will be advised to produce documents necessary to process your visas and your travel can be arranged within few days including your Visas, Drukair flights, hotels, guides, transport and other logistics.

Bhutan Visas should be arranged through any one of the tour Operators in Bhutan (all the tour operators in Bhutan are registered by the government of Bhutan).  No foreign missions or embassies abroad sanction tourists’ Visas.  As per the government regulations, you are required to make full tour payment in advance and upon receipt of full payment, your tour operators will process your Visas with the government. It normally takes 2-3 working days to clear your Visas. The Visa Clearance Letter will be sent to you and your actual Bhutan Visas will be stamped on your passports under the strength of this Clearance Letter on arrival at Paro airport.  You will have to carry this copy along with you always.  Some airports do not allow you to enter the terminal buildings if you do not have this copy.

For the Visa application process, you will have to send your passport details.  Please send your passport details dowmload the PDF Format of the Visa Application Form and you can fax us at 977-1-4251115.  Please make sure that you print all the details correctly.

Passport detail must be sent to us 10 days in advanced for visa process.

Three copies of original passport size photographs are required on arrival. Visa fee US $ 20 for 14 days and US $ 10 as Tourism development must be paid on arrival. Visa can be further extended with an additional fee of US $ 15.

FIT SURCHARGE :
SINGLE INDIVIDUAL - US $ 40 Per Night 
GROUP OF 2 PERSONS - US $ 30 Per Person Per Night
FESTIVAL SUR CHARGE - US $ 25 Per Person Per Night 

THE RATES INCLUDE:
Twin share accommodation on full board, guided sight-seeing & transfers within Bhutan as per the itinerary on tour.

Tented camp, camping gears, porters & ponies, guide, all meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) while on trek. Royalty & Taxes to the Government.

Cancellation Charges:
- Cancellation made in case of requested / wait - listed ticket - Nil Charge
- Cancellation made 3 weeks prior to travel date - 50 % of fare
- Cancellation made 2 weeks prior to travel date - 100 % of fare

TOUR PAYMENT:
Payment should be made in advance either in cash or T.C prior to the commencement of the tour or it should be transferred to our account & a copy of bank remittance should be faxed to us.

As per Bhutan Government rule it is mandatory to travel at-least one way by Druk air, it can be either entry or exit or both. Druk Air operates KTM / PBH / KTM flights only twice a week - Monday / Thursday. Only when seats are not available one can operate tour both ways by overland.
