Arrive in Kathmandu International airport meet our representative
Assist and transfer to selected hotel. |
Day-02: |
Kathmandu: Breakfast, trip to stupas and part of cities and back to Hotel for lunch. After lunch, final preparation for journey i.e, checking and demonstration of equipments which will be used during the trip. If anybody needs to buy or get things on hire, our staff will give a company. |
Day-03: |
Kathmandu- Lhasa:In the morning after breakfast, transfer to airport. Departure of flight for Lhasa would be approx. 9:35.am and it arrives in Gungar airport/ Lhasa (China Standard Time) at 1300 hrs. Flight to Lhasa lasts for about an hour. During the flight you will see the following: Yarlung Tsangpo river, Lake Yamdrok, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m) and Mt. Makalu (8463m) and Mt. Everest (8848m). Weather permitting). It takes almost 2 hours to be in city from Airport. The rest of the day will be with our program. |
Day 04, 05: |
In Lhasa (3650m): These days you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursions of the Potala Palace, the Jokhang temple, surrounding Barkhor market, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Overnight in hotel. |
Day-06: |
Lhasa- Gyantse (3950m)-261 kms. 08-hrs drive takes you to Gantse from Lhasa with crossing Kambala Pass (4794m) and the Karo La Pass (5010m) and The Karo La climbs between two lofty mountains, Nozing Khang Sa (7223m) and Ralung (6236). While driving you will see the Yamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake) which takes approx. 1 hour to cross around. |
Day-07: |
Gyantse- Xigatse (3900m)-90kms
Gyantse is small busting town steeped in history. It lies 264 kms. Southwest of Lhasa on the northern bank of Nyang Chu river. In the 15th century it served as the capital of a small Kingdom. Visit Kumbum Chorten which was built around 1400 AD. It later became the main center for trade with British India. Around noon we will drive to Xigatse. |
Day-08: |
Xigatse- Lhatse- (4050m: After visiting TashiLumpo Monastery in the morning including the Bazaar of Xigatse. Drive to Lhatse and on the way we will visit Shakya Monastery as well if time permits. |

Lhatse - Sang Sang 140km |
Day-10: |
Sang Sang - Saga where you will be meeting your trek crews from Nepal (4450m), 180km: On the first long driving day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy. |
Day-11 : |
Saga (4450m) Paryang (4600m) 185 km 7-8 hrs. Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep. Far south you can see snow covered peaks and nearby you, lots of rocky peaks and sand dunes give you an ideal world. Depends on season, nomads and other mobile shopkeepers dressed by beautiful traditional costume will be waiting your arrival with hot tea and other supplies with big smile. Ruined villages can be seen in some parts of the valley such as Dongba. Night will be spend in the lodge, if you are fresh you can enjoy the Tibetan life style here visiting their dining rooms and kitchens. |
Day-12: |
Drive Paryang to Manasarover. (4558m) 277km 8 hours: The longest driving day starts with full of beauty and excitement, by the late afternoon you can view and do dharsan to Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara.
Driving through some of the most spectacular central Tibetan Terrain including salt and turquoise lakes such as Ngogze, crossing rivers including Paryang, you cannot imagine how beautiful the land is. You will have first view of Holy Manasarover and Mt. Kailash on the way to Hore. Hore, a small village nearby Lake Manasarover, we will spend night here. |
Day-13: |
Holy-Manasarovara: At 14950-ft/ 4558m it is the highest lake of fresh water in the world. The lake is full of fishes and swans. The lake has turquoise complexion. On the right side of the lake you will see the reflection of holy Kailash Parbat and the left side Mt. Guru-Mandala. On the east valley lake Rashekshi is lying. The region is reach for gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures. We will drive around 30 Km from Hore to Chu Gumba where all Pooja takes place. It is a part of Manasarovara Parikrama and way back from Kailash you will complete the whole circuit of the lake. Overnight in camp or lodge at Chu Gumba. |
Day-14: |
Drive Manasarovara to Tarchen (14975ft) 40km 1 hour: Early morning, on the western part of lake (near Chu) holy bath and Pooja will be done. Then water and pebbles are collected to take back home. Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Puja we will be heading towards Tarchen. It is considered as a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama. Stay overnight at Guest House/Camp. |
Day-15: |
A day trek to tirthapuri (Hotspring) |
Day-16: |
Austaparbat & Valley of Gods/ hiking: Depend on the itinerary, we will go part of inner Parikrama to view Austaparbat. It is more an easy day, night at Tarchen again. |
Day-17: |
Trek to Dehara Puk/5000m: Today is your first day of Parikrama. Long but easier walk. you have to walk almost 15km. Keep drinking lots of water since dehydration is major problem on the trip. On the both side of the valley of gods beautiful rocky cliffs, waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky makes you feeling that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will be keep appearing including Nandi Pahad and monasteries. Over night at camp/lodge. |
Day-18: |
Hardest day of your pilgrimage trek with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys: Just concentrate on your goal, keep drinking and taking a long breath with a few seconds rest on time to time. As your steps go closer to the pass, shape of Ice Lingas on the north face of the Kailash can be seen including Stone-Lingas everywhere. Passing Shiva-sthal, Yamasthal (Yama-point), is good place to offer your belongings (like hair, clothing etc.) which makes Yamaraj (God of death) busy and gives you enough time to reach to the top of pass where soul of God Shiva meets you. Once you are on the top, just do the holiest offering whatever you have and sit down for a while on a meditation to forget yourself. Keep promising that all the things you do afterwards are for the sake of all living and nonliving creatures as represent of God Bhramha (shiva). Over night at lodge/camp. |
Day-19: |
End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovara: After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting your arrival. By the late afternoon you will be at your lodge/camp. |
Day- 20: |
Drive to Paryang (277km) 7-8 hr. |
Day- 21: |
Drive to Saga (185km) 7-8 hrs |
Day- 22: |
Drive to Nylam (296km) 6-7 hrs. |
Day- 23: |
Drive to Zhangmu and back to Kathmandu (163 km) 9-10 hr. |
Day- 24: |
Free Day in Kathmandu (shopping) |
Day- 25: |
Depart Kathmandu
Transfer to Inernational Airport and Departure to onward journey. |
