Muktinath Yatra :

 

The famous temple of Lord Muktinath is situated about 18 kms north east of Jomsom in the north central part of Jomsom in the north central part of Nepal, at an altitude of about 3750m. The sight of the bewildering Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges will enchant you as you approach towards Pokhara valley by air or surface from Kathmandu.
Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhist. The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. In the walls around the temple are 108 waterspouts. The Jwala Mai Temple near has a spring and eternal flame fed by natural gas. It is believed that one should visit this temple after completing Pilgrimage of four special religions sites in India. That’s “Chardham Yatra”. The serenity of the place really soothes your bird and beckons you into spiritualistic journey. You will enjoy panoramic views all around.

Itinerary
Day 01 :
 Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan Airport pick up from airport, transfer to Hotel. A full day sightseeing program that includes the main historic and religious sights of Kathmandu.
Kathmandu’s Durbar Square is a constant, teeming mass of life. With over 50 monuments, some dating back to the 12th century, the most famous are the remains of the old Royal Palace and the Kumari Bahal, residence of the living goddess.
On a wooded hill to the west stands the incredible golden-topped stupa of Swayambhunath, dating back at least as far as the 5th century. It is the most sacred of Buddhist sites in Kathmandu and Newari Buddhists are the most fervent devotees.
Tibetan Buddhists are mostly found around the great stupa of Boudhanath – making a holy circumambulation or within the maze of temples and stalls surrounding it.
The Valley’s holiest Hindu temple is equally alive with atmosphere and devotees - Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred shrines to Shiva on the entire subcontinent. It is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River, whose waters offer the same guarantee of release from rebirth as the Ganges. The same premise applies to the dead and this is also Nepal’s most important Hindu cremation site. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 02 :
Patan, once an independent Kingdom, lies only a few kilometers south of Kathmandu, but is quite different in atmosphere. Patan’s Durbar Square contains some of the finest Newari urban architecture in all of Nepal as well as Hindu and Buddhist monuments.
Bhaktapur, founded in 889, was once capital of the whole Valley. As well as an impressive Durbar Square and numerous temples, Bhaktapur is famous for its pottery – whole streets are filled with pieces of all shapes and sizes set in the sun to dry.Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03 :
AM Breakfast, Drive / fly to Pokhara, Arrival in Pokhara transfer to Hotel, Evening leisure, overnight.
Day 04 :
 After breakfast, transfer to Airport fly from  Pokhara to Jomsom-2700 M. by Schedule flight.Arrival at Jomsom Transfer to Hotel immediately walk to Jeep stand (20 Min.) we will transfer you to Muktinath by Jeep (2.30 Hrs.), On the way you will enjoy to see the scenery of nature beauty places, George of Gandaki River, Monastry & Kagbeni, This is famous for Holy bath point of river Gandaki which is 8 Km from Jomsom You should go there to leave inside main road, where people will do funeral ceremony (Shraddha) of their past parents, where every stones are represent of Shaligram, you can pick here.   Then drive to Muktinath, Arrival at Ranipauwa  3710 Mtr. walks to Muktinath temple 3800 Mtr. /40 Min.,If you could not walk where you can hire pony till Main entrance of Muktinath compound, it takes 10 min by motorbike,  arrive in temple, have holy bath on 108 waterspouts “Muktidhara” & in front of Temple there is  2 Kunda,is called Muktikunda,  After have darshan and worship to Muktinath god,  walk to Jwalamai Temple and walk back to Ranipauwa and drive back to Jomsom by Jeep (2.30 hrs), Arrival Jomsom. Walk back to Hotel Overnight at Jomsom 
Day 05 :
At Morning fly back to Pokhara, Pick up from Airport transfer to Hotel, After short preparartion proceed Pokhara city sight seeing places to visit Bindhabasini Temple,  Devi's Fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall, Gupeswor Cave is a sacred and natural cave there is temple of Load Shiva, , The Barahi Temple is the most important monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the center of Phewa Lake, this two-storyed pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of' Ajima where to go by boat ride in Fewa Lake. Fewa Lake, the second largest lake in the Country, is the center of all attraction in Pokhara. Return to Hotel. Evening leisure, overnight.

Day 06 :
Early in the morning go for Sunrise from Sarankot by Private vehicle, This place is situated in 1592 m from sea level, from here you will see the Fist-tail, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Lamjung Himal, Mt. Annapurna I, II are in Annapurna range and other mountains, you feel like touch the mountain from here,  drive back to hotel, after breakfast drive/Fly back to Kathmandu, Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel, overnight.
Day 07 :
After breakfast, transfer to Airport  for final Departure.

Season : The most suitable time to visit to Muktinath from March to May & September to October, these month are best time to visit Muktinath as a weather condition. Some time the flights can be cancel due to fugy & cloudy weather but it will be cleared with in a day. You can travel there on November & February. It is not possible to travel December and January, these month are the diehard here will be snowfall 2 to 6 ft in the all of area.
June to August is raining season but it is possible to travel. As the weather conditions would not be safe enough to travel on Rainy season & cold season, but people are traveled. On rainy season the flight services are cancel due to bad weather for uncertain days. And the Jeep service are closed due to bad road condition

Clothing:Days are relatively warm; especially when there is no wind in the late morning. The appropriate clothing as per the travel period (temperature) and a good walking shoes for rocky and uneven paths are highly recommended. Walking stick would help for those who need support.
We suggest you to take normal warm clothes. Light warm jacket, woolen sweater, warm T-Shirts, comfortable shoes, trousers and cotton pants are enough for this trip. We recommended you to bring down jacket for the winter
