Trek to Sikles is known as Royal Trek after Prince Charles did it in 1980. This trek is one of the popular trek starts from Bijayapur Pokhara. The trail passes through Kalikasthan, Nawaldanda to Sikles and ends at Pokhara.
The Royal Trek is so named thanks to Britain’s Prince Charles who trekked here many years ago. Since then it has become popular because of the ease with which it can be completed in four days. However, there is no compromise on views.
You will see the Annapurna range, Manaslu, and the Mustang. The trek takes you around the Begnas Tal, a beautiful lake with plentiful fish. Many birds come to the lake, including birds of prey. Highlights: ideal for people on limited time, boating Begnas Lake while admiring the mountain panorama, easy walking condition. |
