Trekking in and around Kathmandu valley:

Kathmandu valley offers excellent short trek. Some of these treks can be even completed in one day. It is also possible to turn the treks into overnight trips. Some popular treks around Kathmandu are Shivapuri area, Sundarijal to Nagarkot, Kirtipur to Champadevi, Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha, Nagarkot to Changunarayan etc. Permit is only required for trekking around Shivapuri National Park.
This a special activity providing those people, who do not have long period for trekking and hiking but really enjoy trek. The treks are at low altitude and easier in comparison with other treks in Nepal. We believe this these provide a wonderful experience of trekking including a spectacular and magnificent view of Mountain and Himalaya. Next fact is that these short treks allow an opportunity to observe culture and religion of the tropical Nepali society insight the village.

(i) Nagarkot Chisapani Trek

Day -01: Drive to Sundarijal by bus (1:30 hour) trek to Chisapani (4 hours 2340 mtrs) over night at lodge.

Day-02: Take breakfast and Trek to Nagarkot (1920 mtr. 6/7 hours walking) over night at lodge.

Day-03 :Trek to Changunarayan (2/3 hours walking) and drive back to Kathmandu by a private car (1 hour driving).

(ii) Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trek

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Nagarkot. Overnight at hotel / resort
Day 02: Trek Nargakot to Dhulikhel. Overnight at hotel / resort
Day 03: Drive Dhulikhel to Panauti, sightseeing at Panauti village (a historical 
            and heritage village). Drive to Kathmandu, Overnight at hotel.

(iii) Sundarijal – Kakani Trek

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Sunderijal. Trek Sunderijal to Chisopani.
             Overnight at lodge
Day 02: Trek Chisopani to Kakani. Overnight lodge
Day 03: Morning Kakani Sunrise view. Day - Hike and drive back to Kathmandu,overnight in hotel.

(iv) Sundarijal Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trek

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Sunerijal. Trek Sunderijal to Chisopani. Overnight
            at lodge.
Day 02: Trek Chisopani to Nargakot. Over night at hotel / resort.
Day 03: Trek Nargakot to Dhulikhel. Over night at hotel / resort.
Day 04: Drive Dhulikhel to Bhakatapur. Sightseeing in Bhaktapur city. Drive
            Kathmandu.

(v) Panauti - Balthali - Namobuddha - Bhaktapur Tour

Day 01: Drive to panauti 2 hours, sightseeing around panauti then walk to Balthali Village Resort and Overnight.
Day 02: Hiking Namoobuddha and back to Balthali village resort.( 6hours)
Day 03: Hiking Padagaun 6hours 2150m
Day 04: Drive to Bhaktapur, sightseeing and overnight in hotel.
Day 05: Drive to Kathmandu and sightseeing Pashupati , Swoyambhu , Baudhanath and overnight in hotel.
